Natural French GRACE Kihachiro HACHISUKA - French

GRACE Kihachiro HACHISUKA is located in Aoyama which is an amazing Natural French Restaurant. It has an impression of cleanliness and invigoration with an emphasis on the color white.

Why is this restaurant called "Natural French"? They provide delicious dishes of which  produced from organically-grown ingredients, additionally convey a sense of the season and look pleasing to the eye.

I've visited there to take part in a workshop called "Vegetables school". The amazing macrobiotic dishes followed after a workshop. I've never enjoyed such an incredible tasty and healthy fresh french.

You can also enjoy organic dishes with meat and fish during usual opening hours. A vegetarian course is also available for both lunch and dinner.

If you are interested in the GRACE, advise you to make a reservation at your earliest convenience since it's becoming a popular french restaurant in Tokyo.

Farmers Market in UN University AOYAMA

UNU Farmer's Market which is the biggest and most popular in the central Tokyo  is open every weekends located in the space in front of The United Nation University in Aoyama, Minato-ku.

Organic vegetables and fruits, natural bread and pastries, rice, seasoning foods, natural sweets, preserves, organic cotton items are on sale.  We can also get the local Japanase ingredients of good quality. In addition, a few mobile food trucks besides the dozens of stalls selling hot beverages, quick snacks, curries, salads with outdoor table are also available for the breakfact, lunch and brunch.

It has a high rate of orgaic foods and items, even though there is difficulty in getting organic ones in Japan. This is a relatively-good farmer's market to buy fresh vegetables, orgaic and natural foods that are 20-30% off the market price.

La table du primeur - Raw food cafe

I am becoming more vegetarian for the last 3, 4 months since I began drinking a glass of green smoothie every morning that I can eliminate waste products from my body. Green smoothie makes me slim although I didn't go on a diet and my skin is gradually improving.

A contriver of Green smoothie is the raw foodist who keeps healthy body.  Raw food is founded on the principle that the body is enzymatically activated, therefore, we can keep a healthy body.

New Raw food cafe called "La table du primeur" owned by Mii who is a famous Raw food patissier and master, was open this April. It's located in Mejiro Tokyo where is the good residential district. It was a cozy, natural taste and relaxing cafe where we can enjoy the delicious raw foods and sweets.

I was taking a Japanese raw food lunch box and two pieces of different kinds of raw sweets which are really delicious and healthy.  Especially law sweets are no sugar added and made from organic ingredients.

In my opinion, I think this is the best raw food cafe in Tokyo.

RAINBOW RAW FOOD - Raw food cafe

I love raw food that is popular for those who enjoy healthy life in US, but not much recognition in Japan.  There is a raw food cafe in Hamamatsu-cho called "RAINBOW RAW FOOD" in which I'm a frequent customer.

Actually I've never ever heard any other raw food restaurant/cafe in Tokyo except this cafe. I know the one raw food restaurant in Daikanyama, however, unfortunately it was already closed last December.

It's a tiny spaced cafe, however, they manage the raw food school provided the raw food certification and we are able to enjoy the real raw food in this cafe.
I went there after taking a lunch to have a raw food desert which was amazing delicious. After that, I am a huge fan of the raw food sweets that is good taste and healthy. If you are a raw-foodist, you should be there that is only one raw food cafe in Tokyo.

Vegetable Sushi Potager - Japanese

Vgetable Sushi Potager located in Keyaki-zaka street, Roppongi nearby Grand Hyatt Hotel is a sister's restaurant of vegetable sweets shop Potager in NakaMeguro.

As you know already, sushi is made from the rice with seafood and vegetables, however, this restaurant serves Sushi made from rice and no fish, only vegetables for vegetarians/vegans. To our delight, most cooking ingredient of these pieces of sushi are organic, even the seasoning and the flavoring materials.

In addition, another pride of this restaurant is that we will be able to enjoy the yummy vegetable sweets which is originally theirs own made, different from a sister's sweets shop Potager after the main meals.

In case those who are vegetarian and vegan would like to enjoy Sushi, we recommend them to make a reservation for Vegetable Sushi Potager.

Japan Earthquake

A top of Tokyo Tower has no light right now, because it was broken by the quake.
I shot the above pic on my way back home on foot.
Actually I was so lucky that my place is relatively nearby my office
located around Tokyo station.

When I got under my desk in the office,
I could see the next building was heavily swinging (not shaking) by the hard-hit.
It's terrible.
Also I could see a fire with the smoke at the building in the bay area
from the window of our building.

My office located on higher floor of one of the tower building in central Tokyo,
which has the luxury hotel from 28th floor above.
When I was taking off from the office, the elevator was not in service.
During I went down by emergency steps  to the 1st floor,
I bumped into with a bunch of hotel staff and guests whom are most foreigners.
We greeted each other with an encouragement when we passed by.
Unfortunately they've experienced such a terrible quake in Tokyo
on their business or pleasure.

A visitor from our Australia office was supposed to leave for own country today,
however, he was held up in Tokyo due to Narita Airport closed.
Hotel staff served hot beverages for everyone on the 1st floor in our building.

The roads was stuck in traffic, there had long lines at all bus stops and taxi stands.
Huge people walked on all the streets to go home.
Police officers controlled traffic with whiles at the traffic lights.

There are some little earthquakes while I am writing this article.
Approx. 200 - 300 tsunami-driven bodies were found on the streets in Sendai-city.
Sendai Airport, the fields around there terribly destroyed by tsunami waves.

I don't believe that it has happened in my loved Japan.
It's eye-watering...

It was the Fifth huge Earthquake in the world.

If you can donate money or others to Japan, we much appreciate it!

NIRVANA NY - Indian

Organic Indian Restaurant, NIRVANA NY located in Tokyo Midtown, Roppongi,
that is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant. Restaurant's name has NY,
because it used to be the most popular Indian restaurant in New York.

Soft pinkish crummie were welcome to visit here.
It's regarded as a sacred cow in Hinduism.

I'm not sure why it's was so dark in the restaurant, though it was a sunny day
and sunshine streamed in through the big window as shown above picture.
Maybe New Yorkers like enjoying the dinner in dim illumination?

They offer only buffet style lunch in the lunch time.
Also there have a wide variety of curries and Indian spicy dishes.

We could choose both rice and nann. The first round was enough for me.

A glass of Lassi included lactic acid bacterium bacteria is the healthy drink
called fermented drinks.

Desert buffet which has a large variety is also available.
The leftmost orange basil seed jelly was amazing good.

This restaurant is facing greenery Hinoki Garden in Tokyo Midtown.
You can enjoy an organic Indian curry buffet lunch with a nice view through a big window. Since it's a quite popular restaurant in Tokyo,
The advanced reservation requires for both lunch and dinner, especially the weekend.
