SUBWAY 831Lab is located in B1F, Marunouchi Building just in front of Tokyo station, where is nearby Imperial Palace & in Marunouchi shopping area. It became common knowledge that Jared who is currently shown by Subway CM in the States, has successfully lost approx. 100 kg to keep eating only Subway sandwiches! Subway in Marunouchi is no exception that they will serve you healthy sandwiches with extremely fresh organic lettuce producing at this shop! No kidding!
As soon as you get in the shop, the organic vegetables producing system in the center of the shop will jump to your eyes! See above, it's unbelievable that the lettuce are growing up in the electric automation house without the sun shine as well as the soil! Actually this is just organic vegetables producing systems. It's caused by a small Island in Japan that has limited agricultural lands.
I stopped by here for a quick lunch. My choice was whole wheat bun with avocado & shrimps and a cup of fresh tomato juice from contract farmers. Super healthy!
It will take only 49 days to grow the lettus to be eaten. Just produce and eat in the shop! If you'd like to have a quick lunch or get refreshments, Subway Marunouchi is the best shop after/before your sightseeing of Imperial Palace and Marunouchi shopping area.
